BOWL PLAYERS THAT POPPED
Bernard
Morris |
Marshall |
QB |
An
excellent athlete who is a good runner (488 yards in 2007),
Bernard showed that he can throw as well, both in the pocket
and on the move. He displayed excellent movement in the
pocket and was tough to catch. He is an excellent day
two developmental pick. I like this kid. |

Kevin
O'connell |
San Diego
State |
QB |
O'Connell,
for a tall kid (6'6"), moves well and, in fact, looked
more comfortable throwing on the run than in the pocket.
He showed excellent feet in the pocket and ran for 408 yards
his senior season. He started slow but came on strong in
the second half., He showed enough skills to be an intriguing
developmental prospect. |

caught the ball well, and showed quickness to the
outside. He did not run as well inside, but could be an
effective change-of-pace, third-down back. |

Parmele |
Toledo |
RB |
Parmele
showed he can run between the tackles and has the ability to
make people miss, bounce to the outside, and pick up chunks of
yards. Depending upon his workout, he could be a nice
sleeper in the draft. |

looked the best of the West running backs. He has the
look of a solid NFL backup. He showed a good compliment

looked great, possibly the best offensive player in the
game. He made some very nice catches, showed YAC,
toughness, and excellent hands (despite a late drop). If
he has a good workout, he could be a sleeper in the draft. |

is a monster of a kid who stuffed the run. He has some
off field issues and was suspended during the 2007 season and
only played 3 games. If he erases off the field
concerns, he could be a nice sleeper. |

had a great game! He played well in coverage, was a
